I took this photo of my homey, Bobby, while we met to talk about what’s coming up from Ideall.

Last Summer, I sat down and asked him to be my assistant with IdeallClothing. He agreed and has since been an enormous help with the brand and getting shit done that I would otherwise pull what’s left of my hair out over if I still had to manage all of it alone.

If I get something done with the brand, know that he’s probably behind why it was possible to make it happen without me dying of stress or drinking 8 days a week.

I saw this pic on facebook the other day. It’s DJ Lil Jaz aka eljay ll aka the I.T.F. World Beatjuggling Champion in 99, Winner of the D.M.C. Canadian Finals in 98 and the D.M.C. Toronto Finals from 96-98 aka k-os’ DJ aka one of the most talented and humble people I know. But more on him later..

He’s wearing a hat that I designed for LiveStock’s Fall/Winter 09 headwear collection at the closing ceremonies for the 2010 Olympics in Vancouver. It’s pretty dope for me to see stuff like this. The small wins mean a lot to me.

I’m sure that most of you guys have already seen this picture from my facebook or twitter profiles, but here is a sneak peak at the vibe of the IdeallClothing “Wealth” Series photo shoot. It was shot by one of my favorite photographers in the city, Paolo Azarraga of Inqmnd. I’m a big fan of his work and when I was conceptualizing for 2010’s product, he was exactly who I had in mind to shoot the whole year. After working with him a couple of times, I’ve got nothing but good feelings about what you guys are gonna see from us in the future.

I ran into Jenny and her friend about a week ago on the corner of Dundas and Spadina in Toronto. She was wearing one of the original Die Enormous toques from my Fall/Winter 2008 product and I had to get a photo of her. It was nice to meet and speak with someone who supports the brand but I’ve never had any personal contact with before.

It was snowing that day, so I hope the hat helped keep her warm.

Shout out to Jenny and her friend, who thought she shouldn’t be in the photo, but was easily convinced. lol.
