Everything I do is inspired by life and the things we experience. Last night we experienced our generations version of Martin Luther King’s “I Have A Dream” in the form of Barack Obama’s Presidential speech.
“Yes We Can” is an illustration that I just finished minutes ago, dedicated to commemorating the amazing event that occurred yesterday.
I congratulate Barack Obama on completing yet another step in the direction of positive global change.

Thanks a lot. I couldn’t get this image out of my head last night while watching the speech. I told my girl that I had to sketch it out before I went to sleep and as soon as I got a chance to work on it, I did.

i had goosebumps hearing him, watcing him….watching the faces of hope on all the people in that crowd. it was truly an amazing moment. all i kept thinking about was the emotions that must have been going through the ppl that couldnt even drink from the same water fountain as their white comrades. what must they have been thinking? what must they have been remembering? hearing those words coming out of that man…YES WE CAN.

I love Michelle Obama. She is so inspiring and compliments him so well. They are both such strong people. While giving his speech I saw it in my head, it was intensely beautiful. Anything is possible, I hope this has helped more people realize that.
