My name is Bryan 'be.' Espiritu. I'm a realist, an artist, a writer, a father, a lover and most notably the designer of many things including my clothing line, IdeallClothing.
This site is a nod to everything that makes me tick, talk, and at times turns me turbulent. I may say some things you'll disagree with. I may do some things that you dislike. I may disappear unannounced for long stretches of time without leaving you a note. But when I'm around you can count on one thing - I wear my heart on my sleeve and my arm in a sling.

THE COMPANY
THE LEGENDS LEAGUE uses graphic design, illustration, writing, music, and fashion as a means to authentically reflect the experience of life and inspired life. Created by Bryan Espiritu in October 2006, the creative motives of TheLegendsLeague, its apparel line, IdeallClothing and it’s newest branch, TheMeaningOfDope, is directly connected to the concept of TheLegendsLeague – showing recognition to your influences and inspirations, good and bad and using them as fuel to live life inspired. Without experience it’s difficult to accurately reflect an emotion creatively. TheLegendsLeague prides itself on an authenticity beyond fads, fashionistas and flavors of the day and will continue to evolve so long as there are experiences and individuals who continue to inspire life.
THE CONCEPT
THE LEGENDS LEAGUE is a term used to describe an individuals sources of inspiration and influences throughout their life. The “Legends” are those people and experiences that have crafted you into the person you have become today, the “Leagues” are the collective groups of an individual’s “Legends” and are particular to everyone since no 2 people are entirely influenced by the same things in the same ways. By recognizing the potential that both negative and positive life experiences have in molding our futures we can grow through what may seem the impossible barriers of life, and learn to better enjoy those experiences of happiness when they show face. Because these influences vary from person to person, TheLegendsLeague will forever be defined only by those who believe in its undying growth and potential as a force to move lives forward.
WELCOME TO THE LEGENDS LEAGUE
When THE LEGENDS LEAGUE started in October 2006, the MySpace world was flooded by people asking, “What is TheLegendsLeague?”. It slowly grew into a small community of people who followed the updates and articles and supported the concept behind TheLL by “Welcoming” people into their personal “Legends Leagues”. Saying “I Welcome _ _ _ _ _ _ To TheLegendsLeague” became our way of showing the world who was inspiring and influencing us in our lives. It was a “Thank You” as much as it was a “You are Welcome”, and the importance of it in the “Pay it Forward” aspect of the concept was gigantic.
I began writing it at the end of my posts as a way of saying that the world was welcome to both my experiences and the concept of TheLegendsLeague, and on a daily basis, people were “Welcoming” their influences to their Legends Leagues on our MySpace page.
