I recently saw you today as you passed lavish and squalor (…) I doubt that you even remember seeing me. As you walked by me I didn’t know what to say to you or if I should even stop you in the first place.

Since I couldn’t say it to you in person I might as well say it now lol… You have been an enormous source of inspiration in my life. I won’t go into detail but just know that no matter how successful you become with your blog and Ideall; that you’ve already sparked a mind that was headed in the wrong direction. So I guess I would like to thank you for that… some of your words on the blog really hit home with me especially the post where you listed all the things you’ve gone through in the past 10 years. It was great seeing you today, I only wish I stopped you and told you this in person.

This motivated me a lot. Thank you. I do remember seeing you, and in the future you shouldn’t hesitate to say wassup.

Much appreciated..

I bumped into The Legends League back in (2007) its Myspace days while surfing through my friends friend list. At a certain point I started noticing that certain people had *LL in their usernames either incorporated or stamped in the beginning or end. I noticed that these people weren’t every day people, there was definitely something cool/special about them. With a little more digging I came across The Legends League Myspace page, right off the bat the music the page was playing got me hooked…then the layout, then as I really got into it I got hooked on the written work and designs. From that day forward I followed The Legends League up until today where it now has its own website and has expanded into an established clothing line called IDEALL (IDEA(s) + The Legends League).

The madman/genius behind this whole operation is Bryan Espiritu (Referenced by Drake as Bryan E aka One of the names that are crucial that were gonna need haha. If you don’t know my reference listen to Stay Fly by Drizzy). As a person, Bryan is one of the most unique people I’ve ever come across; He’s one of 2 of the REALEST people I’ve ever met, One of the most CRAZIEST/Genius/Conceptual/Artistic Designer I’ve ever come across, one of the BEST writers I know (this guy can be a Hip Hop ARTIST if he ever wanted to), he’s a dad, and my favourite part..he’s from Toronto.

As an aspiring choreographer with focus on art and concepts – and as a person, Bryan aka ‘be is one dude I most definitely look up to. Through his work, he’s taught me to be real, to chase my dreams, to be different, and many other things, all that not through his words but by his example. His work has also gotten me through the tougher times of my life such as my issues with depression and self worth, he did this, with music compilations, he’s put the most inspiring music together and it was those tracks that really kept me going when I felt I had nothing.

One day, maybe one day I’ll have the honour of being able to work with him on something, this dude is one of the Legends in my life and this post is to commend him and his work for all its done for me these past 3 years. Unknowingly he has somewhat played a father role in my life by teaching me things and picking me up when I was down and out, thanks Bryan. LL^4life
