The Legends League: a film by Eighteen Eighty – Trailer
by be.
The Legends League is a Toronto-born brand created by artist, designer and writer, Bryan Espiritu. Fueled by his life experiences and passion for brutally honest representation, he has built a young and powerful following for his artwork, written work and clothing line, “IDEALL”. “The Legends League: a film by Eighteen Eighty”, reveals the most candid pieces of a man who built his life around a brand about his life.
In the next few weeks, this film will expose pieces of The Legends League that nobody has ever seen; behind-the-scenes glimpses into what it takes for me to do what I do, open conversation about the real origins of what I’ve created and a look into what my future plans mean for the growth of this brand.
“The Legends League: a film by Eighteen Eighty” is the closest I’ve ever let anyone into my workspace and thoughts about The Legends League. It is arguably the rawest you’ll ever see me in the hustle for IDEALL and the most honest I’ve spoken about the origins of my passion for my work.
I’ve had the pleasure of working with Vinny and Howie of Eighteen Eighty, allowing them to film me and ask openly about some of the most turbulent moments of my life as well as exposing them to some of the most exciting news about my future plans.
I’m stoked for the release of this documentary-style piece and can’t wait to share it with you guys. Please let me know what you think of the trailer.
Thank you all for your continued support. I mean it.

Nice Bryan. Very. Excited to see the behind the scenes and hear the insight. Looks like it could be a great piece for Eighteen Eighty as well.
This is amazing already.
It’s dope to be validated as a supporter of this brand by the consistently dope shit that keeps coming out.
Them Eighteen Eighty peoples are highly skilled as well.
The spoken word of Gil Scott Heron fits the trailer so well. The rawness and sultry sound of his voice compliments the honest way you represent your life and work. The trailer is dope and I cant wait to experience the final cut.
Nothing but love and respect to The Legends League. Thank you for inspiring.
As stated on facebook, this is going to be a monster of a piece. I can’t wait for the next bits to filter through to my eyes. I’ll be reblogging this today for sure.
real dope. well inspiring. looking forward to the full film.
The B&W visual brings out the passion, creativity, attention to detail and at times, sense on loneliness that makes LL/IDEALL authentic and timeless. I look fwd to taking in the full doc.
Respect.
