Ideall Clothing + Fully Wholly: Because The Kids Don’t Play

I’ve decided to do a Fully Wholly tee. It only made sense, considering I have a clothing line based so strongly off of graphics, for me to do a piece using the characters I create for my Fully Wholly projects.

For the shirts however, I am not going to be showing any of the Wholly’s in their entirety, just to avoid issues with “the higher ups”. Instead I have laid them out in the style of George Lois’ famous cross hair Esquire cover where he explains: “… in a time when we still embraced heroes, I created this composite of the men I chose as the leading heroes in the eyes of American youth.”

You can say I have taken shots at the average kids memories of their favorite Disney characters with the “Because The Kids Don’t Play” Fully Wholly collection, and you can say that I have “assassinated” those characters. But in doing so, I hope I have caused you to think further about the situations of our young people and how we have affected negative change on them through neglect.

This tee will be available in very limited runs this fall/winter.
