The Biggest Joy of my Week

by be.

This week had a lot of highs for me. I had a great day on Sunday with my daughter, playing in the park, eating together, having a father/daughter sit down with discipline, a tear or two, and no anger or hard feelings. I worked hard on my second week of P90X, slamming through the workouts in a way that had me feeling on top of the world. I spent amazingly warm and heartfelt time with my lady, whom I adore completely. I trapped myself into an old world, and wrote for myself. I reacquainted with my Remix family at The Remix Project fundraiser last night and saw a ton of wonderful friends. I got to sit with my brother Will and talk real talk about where we are in our lives. Not just in terms of chronology, but psychologically as well. And we clowned around like hyenas last night on the streets of Toronto until security forced us to leave the long line of MMVA campers alone.

Of all the great things that happened this week, this video gave me the most joy. Maybe it was the perfect cap to something incredible, maybe it reminded me of the last performance I danced in for my high school play where we all sang U2′s “One” at a karaoke night, or maybe it’s just good to see other people genuinely happy.

I hope this helps to make your week, take the stress off of anything that’s on your mind or shoulders, and gives you hope again. For whatever reason.

Thanks Andy. You never fail.
