TheLegendsLeague: Brother by Shad K
by be.

I know I’ve posted this video before, but I am always drawn back to it. This young man has something special that I’m afraid will go unnoticed and unrecognized amidst the entertainment value of most of whats out in the music world today. His writing skills are remarkable. His flow is a throwback to some of my favorite days of emceeing and hip-hop, (think Native Tongues or Boogiemonsters fame). His performance is compelling. And he wears his heart on his verses.
I don’t know the brother like that, but I hope the successes he searches for find him before getting stuck in webs less deserving.
Listen to this track when you watch the video. Really listen to what the brother is saying.
I Welcome Shad K and his track, “Brother (Watching) to TheLegendsLeague.
note: Shout out to my homey Amir on the beat. I’m sorry I couldn’t come see you my dude.

Noticed and recognized. Writing, flow, and production is on point.
Thanks for posting (re-posting) this, too much crap these days, this is not crap.
Also noticed the “blank quote bubble” tee, sick, says a lot about a person.
I saw this dude’s vid on much music the other day (well more like the beginning of the summer) and I was mesmerized! I was listening to what he was saying because his vid and appearance looked so plain…he’s for real…I’ve mentioned his name to others to see what they think of him, so far the buzz hasn’t reached the masses but I won’t be surprised when it does!
thanx be.
I remember gettin his mixtape for free at Universal and puttin it aside somewhere in my room. Like 5 months later while i was cleaning my room, I found it again and decided to pop it in the cd player. Real talk, the mixtape was on high rotation for a week straight and that’s when I got hooked to Shad.
He’s a dope ass artist and that’s real talk.
word.
