A 5 Minute Me. – day 21.
by be.

DAY TWENTY ONE RESULTS:
Face Shape: Pretty good, but a little long and dragging at the bottom of the jaw.
Eyes: Terrible. The eyes are filled in too big and don’t resemble mine at all. My execution seems to get worse and worse as the days progress.
Nose: Poorly executed and not well defined around the bridge. The bottom portion is similar to my nose in likeness, but not well drawn. The best part may be the shading behind the right nostril.
Mouth: Upper lip is to big on the outsides and the opening shading on the left side of the mouth is too far out. The overall shape is good, but not well drawn.
Details: I was actually able to get to a lot of the details in this 5 Minute Me. There’s a lot of shading that helps define the illustration a bit more, but it’s just not that good of a drawing to begin with, so the details don’t really help to enhance anything. The shading tone is too uniform to give any real sense of depth or level of contrast in the drawing.
Final Thoughts: I was so hungover while drawing this 5 Minute Me that I wrote, “day missed” when really I was drawing on the proper date for the proper 5 Minute Me day and had to cross it out afterwards. Again, I had no sharpener, so I was drawing with the same pencil from Day 20, and this is the reason that the picture for the headings of Day 19, 20, and 21 are all the same.
